It features 5 oversized bedrooms and 6 bathrooms, expansive living areas and full kitchen set across two levels. Nestled within 42 acres of land and neighbouring over 200 hectare of untouched bushlands, this chic home is surrounded by stunning views of the valley's mountain ranges.

 

Guests of this luxury getaway - just two hours from Sydney - are afforded the ultimate in privacy and space due to the peaceful location of the property. Kangaroo Valley’s close proximity to the Southern Highlands and gateway to the NSW South Coast makes this luxury accommodation a great base when exploring the region's many attractions, such as national parks, waterfalls, boutiques and galleries, wineries and restaurants.

Saddle Ridge's name is a homage to its history as a riding school and the natural surround of the mountain ranges which form a saddle to the west of the property.

Each of the 5 bedrooms are equipped with plush king size Sealy beds and Sheridan linens that provide a luxurious haven. All bedrooms are located on the upper level and offer stunning views and vistas; three have double sink ensuite and two share a jack and jill. 

The living spaces are located on the ground level with multiple living areas providing guests of this luxury getaway comfortable spaces to sit and relax or get together with friends to celebrate birthdays and special occasions. If you are looking to entertain a fully equipped commercial kitchen is available and is perfect for those looking to bring in external caterers. 

The ground floor living areas flow out into the newly established gardens that extend the living space of this luxury holiday home. During the warmer months guests can enjoy lazing by or taking a dip in the generous outdoor pool. On cooler days and evenings, you can cosy up in front of the fire pit with the provided firewood. For additional dining options you can also dine under the free standing gazebo and cook on the provided 6-burner BBQ or fire pit grill.

The main homestead sits centrally on our 42 acres estate. Newly established gardens surround the property, sitting in the middle of a clearing and surrounded by woods. This provides those looking to connect with nature the perfect playground. 

 

For those wanting a little more spice, there are trail walks throughout the valley including the stunning Three Views walking track starting from Tallowa Dam Road or the scenic Tallowa Dam and picnic area at the end of Tallowa Dam Road. 

 

During the warmer months guests can enjoy lazing by or taking a dip in the generous outdoor pool. On cooler days and evenings, you can cosy up in front of the fire pit with the provided firewood.

 

For additional dining options you can also dine under the free standing gazebo and cook on the provided BBQ facilities or open fire pit BBQ grill. These features make this luxury Kangaroo Valley accommodation the perfect destination for both winter getaways and summer escapes. 

Hit The Road

Guests can now enjoy our new classic bicycles while staying.

Exploring Kangaroo Valley on bicycle is the perfect way to experience everything that this amazing location has to offer. 

Guests can use our new classic bikes to head into town to pickup some essentials, or perhaps drop into the Kangaroo Valley Farmers Markets for some fresh produce. Each bike offers a fabulous basket for transporting those goodies home too.  

Our bikes are also the perfect option for keen golf enthusiasts to make their way to the nearby golf course.

There are many waterways nearby to explore. Bring your own equipment or hire from one of the local operators to enjoy Kangaroo River, Lake Yarrunga & Tallowa Dam. 

Kangaroo River walking track in Morton National Park winds 3.5km down to the water’s edge, where a secluded picnic spot offers opportunities for fishing, swimming, canoeing, birdwatching and camping.

One of our favourites (it helps that it's so close!) is Kangaroo Valley Golf Club.  It is one of the most beautiful courses in the Southern Highlands, and it's just a minute or two from us. It's a Championship 71 Par Course, making it enjoyable, yet challenging..
